Style-packed DC’s

Just before my flight to New York City last fall, I met with Dino Gilladoga who represents DC Shoes, a leader in performance skateboarding shoes and renowned action sports brand.  DC Shoes, now a global brand with product lines that include lifestyle shoes, apparel, snowboard boots, outerwear and accessories for men, women and kids, has recently launched its SixPack France collection, the first of a series of apparel/footwear collaborations that characterize the LIFE division of the brand for the next few seasons.
DC X SIXPACK Double Label collection features two classic DC LIFE models– Xander and Sector 7, and a line of apparel. The collection that is also dubbed “Non Merci,” French for “no thanks,” has custom Sixpack patterns and logos.
The Limited Edition Xander hi top trainers that Dino presented this jotter are trimmed with black pigskin leather upper and clear soles that reveal an image of a stylish, blonde girl that’s also printed on the removable foot bed. The bodies of the shoes feature an abstract grid design; the words “Non Merci” are printed on the outer heel and the Xander Sixpack logo on the back heel panel.

I had no trouble incorporating these style-packed hi tops into my NYC wardrobe, the bright yellow shoe tongue with movable logo buttons and matching bright lining provided a shot of color contrast that made my otherwise mostly-black fall clothes more interesting and fun to wear. The shoes also have DC metal logo badge on the outer side and two sets of laces that gave me an option: black for fall, bright blue for the holidays.

DC Shoes are exclusively distributed in the Philippines by Primer Group of Companies and are available at DC Trinoma (2nd level – Trinoma Mall), DC Ayala Cebu (Active Wing) R.O.X (Bonifacio High street), all Res|Toe|Run Stores, all Bratpack Stores & also sold inside Tough Jean store in Shangri-la mall.
